This is a picture of Samus the cat, she is named after a legendary Nintendo game character. With the program GIMP I used the "select region" tool to single out an area where I desired to input my text. Then I filled the selected area white. Following that I employed the "type tool" where I chose my font, size, and color to place my text into the selected region. It is a midterm exercise from Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics.
