These three images are the same downloaded images. I have exporeted them into three differant applications which are listed under each picture. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. These three images are exports from one original picture. The original picture was exported to three different applications (.png, .gif, and .jpg). The .jpg seems to be in first with the most clarity and .png a close second. The .gif export seems to hold the least information from the original resulting in a less clear image the seems very foggy.

Midterm #2
This is a picture of Samus the cat, she is named after a legendary Nintendo game character. With the program GIMP I used the "select region" tool to single out an area where I desired to input my text. Then I filled the selected area white. Following that I employed the "type tool" where I chose my font, size, and color to place my text into the selected region. It is a midterm exercise from Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. Midterm #1
This is a picture of a young child. This picture originally had "red eye" the term we are all familiar with when subjects in picture are shown having bright red eyes. I followed instructions from section B.8 of the textbook Discovering Bitmap Graphics. I employed the eyedrop tool to select the color of the area surrounding the red eye pupil, then I used that specific color with the paintbrush tool to color in his pupil. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The Course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. Hello My Name Is Steve
Hi guys I am a senior at the Woods School of Advancing Studies here at BC. I am a History major and hopefully will be a teacher soon. I currently work for a business called Husky Express Corp. and I basically drive a big truck around Boston, which isn't the most pleasant thing in the world because Boston traffic is insane. But I am still happy for the opportunity to work and go to school. I live in Fenway which is a pretty cool area.
I am big sports fan and looking forward to the soon arriving football Sundays. Football season is a big help for this cooling weather because I am a summer guy and I hate to see it go. The pumpkin beer along with pumpkin ice coffee at DD don't hurt either. I am scheduled to work this Sunday which is a bummer. I feel a bit of a cold coming on however, which may leave me no choice but to call out of work that day. Cant miss Pat first game. I also enjoy hiking, the ocean, and hanging out with my friends.
Here is a nice pic I took hiking in North Conway NH a few weeks ago.
